ABA Clarity — Terms of Use
Effective October 28, 2026 · Version 2026-10-28-age16-v1
These Terms describe use of ABA Clarity, an independent ABA study service operated by ABA CLARITY LLC (the “operator,” “we,” or “us”). Contact: abaclarity@gmail.com.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accepting these Terms during registration, you agree to follow them. Read the Privacy Policy to understand how information is handled. If you do not agree, do not create an account. The service is for people aged 16 or older studying or learning about applied behavior analysis. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy before you create an account or use the service. Do not create an account or use the service if you are under 16. You must provide accurate account information.
2. Educational purpose and independence
ABA Clarity provides practice questions, explanations, confidence ratings, reasoning exercises, study recommendations, and group practice. It is not clinical care, individualized treatment advice, professional supervision, an accredited training program, or a certification or continuing-education credential.
ABA Clarity is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®). Permission to display the outline does not mean that the BACB reviewed or approved ABA Clarity’s questions, explanations, or learning system.
Behavior Analyst Certification Board®, BACB®, Board Certified Behavior Analyst®, BCBA®, Registered Behavior Technician®, and RBT® are marks owned by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®. References to certification objectives identify the material being studied. Consult the BACB’s official materials for eligibility and examination requirements.

Levels, mastery indicators, streaks, scores, and readiness estimates reflect activity within the app. They do not establish professional competence or guarantee an examination result. Error-pattern explanations are study suggestions, not clinical diagnoses. Questions may contain mistakes despite review; report concerns to our support email. Practice items are original educational material, not actual examination questions.
3. Accounts and security
Keep your sign-in details confidential and use your own account. Do not share credentials or use another person’s identity. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize; these Terms do not remove rights you have concerning unauthorized transactions or security failures. We may require email verification or additional authentication to protect accounts.
4. Free and Premium access
Basic study features and the objectives designated permanently free remain available without payment information. Availability of an account-dependent feature may require signing in. Website checkout may be available through Stripe; test checkout is clearly labeled and does not charge real money.
Where monthly Premium subscriptions are enabled, the purchase screen will identify the included features, localized price, currency, monthly billing period, billing provider, and cancellation instructions before you purchase. A monthly subscription automatically renews unless cancelled through the provider that bills you. For website subscriptions, use Manage Subscription in Clarity to open the Stripe billing portal and cancel. Cancellation stops future renewal; access generally continues until the paid period ends, subject to refunds, revocations, or other lawful provider adjustments. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable provider refund rules apply.
Website Premium also offers prepaid 3-, 6-, and 12-month access. Each prepaid plan is one payment for the stated number of calendar months from verified payment, with no automatic renewal. The total price and access duration appear before checkout. Refunds and payment reversals may end access, subject to mandatory consumer rights. No weekly, lifetime, or trial plan is offered. We will not enroll you in paid access merely because you create an account. Subscription expiration restricts Premium activities; it does not itself reset your level or erase recorded study history. Do not purchase again on another platform if your account already has an active subscription. Contact support for purchase or access problems. Material pricing changes will be disclosed before they take effect as required by law and the billing provider.
In the iOS app, Apple processes Premium purchases. The Apple purchase screen shows the current price, currency and billing terms before confirmation. Monthly Premium automatically renews unless cancelled in Apple subscription settings. Three-, six- and twelve-month prepaid plans are one-time payments with no automatic renewal and provide the stated number of calendar months from the verified purchase date. Use the same Clarity account to restore access; a purchase does not automatically transfer to a different Clarity account. Manage cancellation or refund requests with the provider that charged you. Apple billing and website Stripe billing remain separate.
5. Clarity Room
When online rooms are enabled, hosts control session settings and invited learners may join eligible sessions. Session points and rankings start over with each session. Participants’ display names, existing app levels, points, streaks, awards, and shared contributions may be visible to the host and other participants. Choose a display name you are comfortable sharing.
Room access to Premium questions is temporary and ends when you leave or the session ends. Participation history and permitted recaps may remain, but temporary room access does not grant a subscription or an independent right to reopen Premium questions. Do not distribute room codes publicly unless you intend to invite that audience. Hosts and participants must behave respectfully. Threats, harassment, hateful or sexual content, and disclosure of someone else’s private information are not allowed.
Use Room safety & support to report a participant or block them. Reports are private to authorized moderation staff and do not notify or remove the reported person. After reporting, members may stay or leave; hosts may separately kick a member from the session. Blocking separates active participation without ending the room for everyone else: a member who blocks someone leaves rooms they share, while a host who blocks a member removes that member. Blocked accounts cannot actively participate together in future rooms until unblocked. Recorded work remains available, with blocked names hidden in room history. Blocking does not submit a report. You can manage your own blocks from the same controls. Removing your block does not remove a block set by someone else. We may hide inappropriate names and restrict room access after moderation review. To ask for help or dispute a restriction, contact abaclarity@gmail.com.
6. Acceptable use and submissions
Do not enter patient or client names, health records, identifying clinical details, confidential employer information, or actual protected examination content. Use fictional or fully de-identified examples. Do not harass others, impersonate people, manipulate rankings, bypass access controls, scrape the question library, share paid content without permission, or interfere with the service.
You retain rights in explanations or feedback you submit. You grant us permission to store, display to the intended audience, and process that material to operate, secure, and improve the service and respond to your request. This permission does not authorize selling your private study history. You must have the right to submit the material.
7. Content license
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the study materials through the service for lawful learning. You may not reproduce, resell, republish, or redistribute the question bank or use automated extraction without permission, except as applicable law allows. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
8. Availability, suspension, and leaving
We may update features, correct content, or perform maintenance. Availability and uninterrupted access are not guaranteed. We may restrict access to address abuse, security incidents, unlawful activity, or material violations, and will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue when reasonably appropriate. Contact support to dispute a restriction.
You may stop using the service or request permanent deletion in your account controls. Account and study deletion is completed within 30 calendar days of an accepted verified request, with a completion email. Deactivation only blocks access; it is not permanent deletion. The Privacy Policy explains shared-room cleanup and limited retained records. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple subscription settings; account deletion does not request an Apple refund. When processing deletion of an account with website billing, we cancel its website subscription immediately without proration or an automatic refund, reconcile outstanding billing, and remove its billing customer. This is different from ordinary subscription cancellation, which generally preserves access through the paid period. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Responsibility and consumer rights
Use the service with independent judgment. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without promises of fitness for a particular examination or clinical decision. We do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives class-action rights, or selects a court in a location you have not been told about.
10. Updates and contact
We will identify the effective date and version of published Terms and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where required, we will ask you to accept updated Terms. Questions, complaints, content concerns, and account requests can be sent to abaclarity@gmail.com.
